Magnex Technologies is recognized as “Best INCIT Incubated Startup” at the Start-UP Awards

In a ceremony marked by the celebration of entrepreneurship and innovation, Magnex Technologies was the big winner of the Start-UP Award | Best Incubated Startup from INCIT (Incubator of Technology-Based Companies of Itajubá). The event, promoted by Inovai, the city's innovation agency, took place on December 17, 2024, and highlighted the exceptional trajectory of the startup that stood out the most in the Incubation Journey during the year.

The award aims to recognize and value entrepreneurial initiatives that, like Magnex Technologies, have contributed significantly to the local innovation ecosystem. Among the evaluation criteria, the Inovai team analyzed the performance curve, which was measured through a monitoring graph, representing the expected progress of the startups; the evolution in the incubation journey; and the attendance at follow-up meetings.

Inovai's executive director, Maurício de Pinho Bitencourt, led the award ceremony and emphasized the importance of the Incubation Journey as a fertile space for the development of innovative solutions.

“For 24 years, INCIT has proven to be a cradle of great ideas, and today we celebrate the success of Magnex Technologies, which not only met the evaluation criteria, but also presented an admirable performance curve, reflecting its commitment and originality,” said Bitencourt during the award ceremony.

For Paulo Neuenschwander Maciel, CEO and one of the partners of Magnex Technologies, the award is a recognition of the work developed by the company, which has now expanded its business in Brazil and abroad, with plans to open an office in China in 2025.

“Magnex is extremely honored with the award received and pleased with the success of the incubation at INCIT. The reasons that brought us to Itajubá, including the intellectual and technological density, the proximity to the local ecosystem and, notably, the relationship with CTPB – Brazilian Pre-Salt Technology Center, show how correct our choice was. We are certain that this is just the beginning of a long-term relationship in which all involved will have much to gain,” he said.

Magnex Technologies, a Brazilian company specializing in innovative solutions through magnetic activation of fluids, stood out for its proposal to modify the rheology of transported liquids. The startup invests in technologies that promote the reduction of oil viscosity and the elimination of incrustations in pipes and equipment used in various segments, such as boilers, heat exchangers, concrete plants and oil and gas extraction.
